Finished Project: Springtime Scarf

I have always loved the look of springtime scarves but being rather short, I can never find any that don't look like I'm 10 and wearing my Mother's scarf. I mentioned this to James the other day and he suggested that I use up some of my stash and knit myself something. And so off to Ravelry I went looking for a light and pretty scarf.

This pattern is perfect and an easy knit. It is my second pattern knitting something with a bit more "advanced" stitch and I love it!

As the weather starts to warm up here in Vancouver (again) I am really looking forward to wearing this. It was a bit picky at first but I have since gotten used to it. I gave it a pretty good blocking but would have liked the scarf to be a wee bit longer.

For me Knit Picks is a great option for getting yarn as I don't have many yarn stores in my area and I don't drive. The shipping is a bit steep but it will give me a pretty good excuse to order more to make up for it. :-)

Pattern: The Cream of Spinach Scarf
Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in Hollyberry; I used 2 skeins.
Needles: 5 mm
Mods: none
