Finished Project: One Row Scarf

I was looking for an easy mindless knit when James pipped up that he doesn't have a scarf. After searching the patterns on Ravelry I quickly realized that there not many options for a masculine scarf that is not just garter stitch. But then I found this pattern and loved it.

I've had the yarn in my stash for awhile now. I didn't have anything in mind for it when I bought it and was kind of leary as to what I would knit up with it. I haven't had much experience with a varigated yarn but I just love the results.

Pattern: One Row Handspun Scarf
Yarn: Patons Classic Wool in Dark Beige Marble, I used the entire skein.
Needles: 4.5 mm straight
Mods: none

In the end this was a great knit and I love the result. The entire pattern consists of only 4 stitches that are repeated for the entire scarf. That's it! What couldn't you love about this scarf?!

It would be interesting to knit it up in a wider width with a solid colour. It would make an easy and pretty Christmas present. Hmm, now I just need to decide who to knit it for...
