I've finally decided to follow along with Ginny.
As the weather gets colder I have been scouring patterns to find the perfect winter scarf. I haven't had much luck, so when I saw Stephen West's Boneyard Shawl I fell in love. I’ve wanted to knit a shawl for myself for awhile now and I think this may just work as a scarf for me. I’m not too sure on the colour of this yarn though. While it’s a dream to knit with we’ll have to see if this golden yellow looks ok on me or not. If not then I’m sure I’ll be able to gift it to someone. It’s simply divine.
As to Breakfast at Tiffany’s ~ I’m loving the read. I’ve also wanted to read Truman Capote for years and can’t believe I haven’t read this sooner. I really love his writing and short stories are always a favourite genre of mine. This will be book 48 for me and *fingers crossed* I will hopefully be able to make it to 50 by years end.

I'm a Truman Capote fan by way of Harper Lee and I love them both! I've never read B@T before, I'm glad to know your enjoying it...this Yarn Along is seriously making my 'to read' list VERY long!
ReplyDeleteBeutiful yarn and beautiful knit!
I just love the color of that yarn and your stitches looks so nice.
ReplyDeleteOoh, great combo!! I love this short story, and was surprised at how different it was from the movie, which I had seen first. His short stories are fantastic. And the shawl is looking great so far!
ReplyDeleteOh, a shawl for myself has been a long time on my list. Your color is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteTruman Capote is on my list of to-reads. And i also have that shawl on the needles but haven't worked on it for awhile.
