Christmas 2010

I've been inspired by ravelry and all the knitting I've been doing lately to try and knit all/most of my Christmas gifts for next year. If I start in January, I can hopefully get at least 12 projects done. Hopefully is the key word here folks.

My list of people that we give gifts to are:

• My Mom & Dad
• Hope
• Brooke
• My Aunt Linda
• Shawn & Gergana
• Maya
• James’s Mom & Tom
• And of course James
• Secret Santa @ work

And now that I’ve actually written my list out it looks almost do-able. The main problem would be picking out projects to knit up. Most of them would be easy; it’s mainly the men that would be hard.

Plus I would need to get over my mental issues of second guessing whether the person would actually like, appreciate and use the gift I knit for them.

There are so many benefits of doing Christmas *shopping* all year. I won't have to spend so much money in one month. This would mean that I can potentially give gifts to other people that I have wanted to give to but couldn’t afford; like my brother and sister as well as close friends. Plus if I organize this well I can purchase yarn when there are big sales on.

Ok, I’m officially excited now.
